My 16 year old daughter has been diagnosed with a thyroid goiter, and her lab values are as follows: tsh and free t4 are normal, throperoxidase is now 230...she was originally put on 25 mcg synthroid in April her throperoxidase was 211 then. Her neck continues to increase in size, is the thyroperoxidase a significant lab value to worry about?
