slammed finger in door treatments
i slammed my finger in my moms bedroom door yesterday and now today its numb it doesnt hurt its just numb

assuming it's not broken, keep icing it to reduce any swelling. You may have pinched a nerve which is causing the numbness. If the numbness continues for several days maybe see a doctor about it.

Had this happen to me a long time ago... Turns out it was broken, took the doctors a few reviews of the x-rays to be able to spot the fracture, i went 2 weeks before they gave me a splint and I never knew it was broke. Go get x-rays if possible since you may not know if it got a small fracture or not. Keep ice on it for now.
