nose bleeds when vomiting - General Health Message Board

Hi! For the past couple of nights my husband has been waking up @ 4am running to the bathroom to vomit and when he does he ends up getting a bloody nose and we don't know the cause of it. He has also been very dizzy and can barely stand as well as having the runs every time he goes to the bathroom and it doesn't stop. He is constantly going to the bathroom. Am I right to be extremely worried? Is his body trying to tell him something?

Yes! These things all together do suggest that a proper medical diagnosis is required. You should insist that he sees a doctor quickly and, if that is difficult because of the New Year holidays, a visit to the ER might be advisable.
