Please help

I need some advice on how to get over this.

How do you grow after a personal setback where your ego had been bruised?

Something horrible happened to me in my line of work which left me feeling humiliated and angry over it and I just feel really depressed over it.

Iím a plumber and what happened to me was to teach me a lesson and to make me a better person but I just found it so upsetting.

How do you pick yourself up after such a setback?

Re: Please help

I'm so sorry you've had this experience. Let me assure you you're not alone--I think it happens to most of us at one time or another. Time will heal your wounds better than anything. However, I suggest you surround yourself with supportive people (family, friends, perhaps even a therapist), and try to believe in yourself again. Only you can decide what's best for your future. My best friend went through something similar in his job and made the decision to move to a town about 100 miles away. It turned out to be a very good decision for him. Talk with your friends and family, consider your options, and if you're still having trouble, please don't hesitate to visit with your doctor. A few weeks or months on an antidepressant and/or therapy can do wonders. I wish you the best of luck!
