Question Mysterious pains

There's no real great way to explain this, so I will do what I can. Every now and again, suddenly, I will get an achy, throbbing pain localized to one spot. But the spot is never in one particular place, but tends to be on hands, wrists, and legs, and close to a joint. It feels the way a fever would make your whole body feel (achy and sensitive to touch), but it just feels that way in one spot. It will last forever in that one spot, and go away. It doesn't feel like the pain is coming from a muscle. It feels like its right under the skin.
Can this be something wrong with a nerve or circulatory system?
