I may be worrying myself over nothing (I am a bit of a hypochondriac

But I am having some discomfort on my left rib. It hurts a little bit, not all the time, but it comes and goes. The pain is not excrutiating either, just annoying. The left side of my ribcage sticks out a bit more then my right could this be contributing to it somehow? I had this checked out about 10 years ago thinking it was a tumor and I heard no news from the tests so I am assuming all is well. Has anyone had this kind of rib pain before? It has been happening for almost a week now.
