I hate how I look. I’m skinny, and I look weak. Sometimes I hesitate to talk to people (especially girls) because of that. Anyone knows how I can get a good shape? Help me please.
Start lifting weights to gain some muscle. Pushups, pullups, bench press, shoulder press, lat pulldowns & rows, biceps curls, and tricep extensions are all great for building up and strengthening the upper body. Squats, deadlifts, leg press, leg curls, and leg extensions are the basics for building strength in the lower body. Throw in some abdominal & core work, and you're all set.
NSCRBUG is partially right, you need to workout if you are wanting to change your appearance. You will probablly need to change your diet as well. If you are wanting to sculpt your body your best bet would be to get with a reputable personal trainer that could put you on a tailored diet and workout routine specific to the results you are wanting......
You don't mention how old you are. That will also play into this. If you are only in your early teens you will need to wait until the testosterone kicks in and you can actually build that muscle mass. You have to be at a certain age to be able to build that kind of mass and that takes having gone through puberty... Sorry if you are old enough...
Maybe you should invest in a weight-gainer protein shake if you decide to start working out. I've been competing in powerlifting for 3 years and I used to be very scronny, but the good news is it means you might have a really high metabolism. Weight-gainer shakes average around 1300 calories and 70 grams of protein with thousands of amino acids that'll help pack on muscle mass that won't store fat really, if you're already having a hard time gaining weight in the first place.
it sounds like your diet may not be the best right now, and getting a gym membership and lifting weights without eating alot is only going to burn away more calories you can't afford to lose, and you'll end up light headed at the gym, and even leaner/skinnier than you were before. you can totally PM me if you're interested in working out and I'd be happy to help more.
