when I look up or lay down I get off balance and my vision gets shaky

when I look up or lie down I get off balance and my vision gets shaky. My vision seems to go up and down and it takes me a minute or two to focus on a book after i lay in bed. When I get up after lying down I can't walk quite straight for a few seconds and vision is shaky. I do not feel sick at all. At first I called it dizzy but that didn't quite fit. What could this be?
