on set of sudden pain in joints

my question is regarding an on set of pain in joints that move from ankle to shoulder one day and the next day it will be back of knee wrist and ankles the pain is worse in the evening starting during the day and at 7:30 every evening I am so stiff and in so much pain ....I have been taking X2 400mg of Advil along with 500 mg tylenol
I am a 40 year male ...I have been very active most my life, hockey BMX and to the present X country mountain bike racer. this is scareing me could stress from life and work cause this?
