i keep getting red bumps with a yellow center on my upper and lower lips the are painful . they come and go away.back in october i got one and thought it was a pimple a big one i sterilized a needle and popped it but it got infected real quick and it was staph and had to be surgically drained i looked like a monster. i havent messed with anymore but they dont look good and they hurt. they go down in the day time and are bigger at nite . what could it be a sign of?

Could be many things. You should seek medical treatment and find out what is causing this..

It sounds like herpes type II, not genital herpes (that's type I). It probably got infected with staph that was on your skin when you popped it. Any type of doctor should be able to start you on Valtrex (acyclovir). While you're their ask him about the possibility that you have some sort of immune deficiency, or maybe that you are sick with something else that is making it harder to fight off the herpes.
