swallowing pills

Hi there.

i have a real phobia about swallowing pills that are big. i normally have to crush them up first!
But my problem is that i have been give azithromycin to treat chlamydia and i have to take 4 (fair size) tablets. how on earth am i going to do it???? its says not to crush them!!!!!
I know this a silly problem but i know its going to panic me when i come to take them later!!
Any one got any ideas to help??!!!

cheers!!

Re: swallowing pills

Get yourself some applesauce. Those babies will slide right down!!!!
Also, call your pharmacist and/or doctor and ask if there is a liquid version of the medication you need.
