Left Breast & Sternum pain
Last Friday I began experiencing sharp, stabbing, burning pain under my left nipple, which radiates out to my arm pit area. It mimicks the pain you get in your breasts during your period, but to a much higher degree, I've had this pain off and on since approximately 2004, but it generally went away within 24 hours or so. This time, itís not going away. I mentioned it to my gyn last year and she told me that it was normal for some women to have an aggravated nerve when they are stressed, and back then I was REALLY stressed. However, this time it's non-stop and more intense and I don't feel any stress. Ive taken Motrin, Advil, etc., slept with support on, put a heating pad on it, massaged it, etc. No relief.
On top of that, my sternum, between the breasts is also very sore to the touch. If feels like someone is digging their fingers into me HARD with just the slightest touch of my own fingertips. Clothes against the skin doesnt aggravate it, just touch. My right breast is also somewhat ďsoreĒ, but nothing compared to my left breast. *wonders if itís having sympathy pains*
I have no inflamed lymph nodes, that I can tell. No lumps. No leakage. No inflammation anywhere on my chest. No bruises. No redness. No fever. A bit fatigued, but thatís normal for me. No injuries to speak of. Bought new bras, thinking it was a ďsupportĒ issue (Iím a D cup). I noticed a small blood clot on my face, but i'm sure it's not in relation to anything. I just happen to look for changes since i'm a fair skinned redhead whose father dealt with skin cancer. I've also noticed i'm *blush* a bit gassier since this started and last night was very nauseated and hot....sweaty hot.
Iím 37 and in generally good health. I have no problems to speak of, other than with my feet and some IBS. I had breast implants done in 2006, but the pain started before that. Ive had two kids, but had tubal ligation done in 1997, so I cant be pregnant. I take colonzapam, paxil, miralax, probiotic and a vitamin each evening. I work out 5 mornings a week and eat healthy.
Has anyone ever experienced this before? I have an appointment Friday, but was wondering if I could go in with some knowledge. Thanks in advance!
