Unhappy getting off xanax


Hi,
I have been on xanax for seven years. I am now weaning off 6mg per day. i was at eight and stopped one a while ago. so now i have to get off it because xanax has clogged my salivia glands. I am eliminating a quarter every two weeks. Can this cause being tired and sick to your stomach. Are these side effects and i feel like my breathing is changing like not as strong or something its weard and i feel like YEk. do you have any suggestions any special foods help instead of another drug?

Hello,

I am no expert with xanax, but I have noticed similar things with other powerful prescriptions. Sometimes a withdrawl period can last 2 weeks...it depends on how long I have been taking the pill for too.

What do you mean "I'm eliminating a quarter every two weeks" ??

I don't understand, you have to stop xanax immediately because of your dry mouth?
