what happen when you take an aleve on an empty stomach

yesterday i didnt eat anything at all........my stomach felt like it was full and if i ate something i felt like i was stuffing myself.......i had went out fishing with a friend and the only thing i had was some juice......then i started getting tired and my stomach was hurting......and so they drop me off at home early.....and the day before yesterday i ate fine but i had this ache in my neck so when they drop me off i took a aleve on an empty stomach and fell asleep for an hour.......then i went some where else with a friend when i woke up and we went to the store and my stomach started felling bubbling and so she offered my somthing to drink and i chose water........when i gotten back to her house i was sitting at the table and i finished my water and next thing i knew i threw up everywhere and felt better after. Did i throw up because i took a aleve on an empty stomach or is it something else?

Re: what happen when you take an aleve on an empty stomach

Aleve is very hard on the stomach, you need food before taking. Anti-inflammatory medications irritate the stomach.
