bruise appeared on top of my hand
A bruise appeared on the top of my hand. It has been there for 5 days and does not change its appearance as other bruises normally do. It is of a reddish blackish color. There is no pain. It's about 1 inch by 1inch insize, maybe a bit larger. What could this be?

You dont say your age here so I am wondering how old you are. My mother had what the doctors call thin skin. I am 49 and developed it when I was around 40. I have bruises show up everywhere on my body and dont remember how they got there. You could pinch my mother on the arm and she would bruise. I havent got that bad yet.
Another thing could be that your blood is too thin. If it doesnt go away or you find another, you may want to get it checked out.
