alright. i need a little help here. i play competitive flag football so i do a lot of hard running quite a bit. back in july i suffered a groin injury but continued to run and play. in august i decided to call it quits for the year and had stopped running completely. just a week ago i tried going to the gym and playing some basketball but still felt pain in my groin. its restricting me from running full speed.
i've never had a groin injury before but do they usually last this long? there are days if i run a little too hard, the pain will travel to my butt area.
i talked to a few of my friends and they said i might have a hernia.
i wanted to know what you guys thought before i go in to see a doctor. if its just a groin injury then i would rather just sit and let it heal on its own.
