lymp nodes a mystery to me

Anyone know why these things stay swollen even on antibodies?

Ive had mine behind my ears over a month and I'm really getting frustrated. There the size of of maybe a quarter maybe alittle smaller.

I went and got camiflu and penicillin 500 x2. For symptoms of discoloration of drainage, clogged ears, sore neck, headache, loss of appetite, sleeping a lot and over all just not feeling well.

I'm not sure what exactly the function is of them and those ones behind the ears are supposed to do.

What could cause them to stay swollen even with treatment?

Why would they give you antibodies for an infection? Do you mean an antibiotic???
If so, they sometimes take 2 or 3 rounds to be totally effective.

yeah they gave me antibotics. She said if its not bacterial it may be viral.

It just has me stumped. So if this doesn't do it, hopefully they will give me another round. lol
