sick often and take long to recover - 29yo male

Hi, im 29yo male. no chronic health problems or hereditary diseases and I also exercise regularly; at least 3-4times/week. (muaythai and triathlon training ie swim, bike, run) I am athletic and not overweight. 55kg / 171cm

However, I seem to get sick (cold, flu, sore throat) often (ie once every 1.5 months) and take long to recover (1-3 weeks). I usually donít take meds and let my body recover by itself.
I donít understand as I think I am pretty healthy & recently started taking multivitamins. I never used to be like this until I started working in an office environment 3.5 yrs ago.

I just completed my annual health screening and apart from my uric acid slightly high at 7.8 mg/dl and cholesterol slightly high at 226 mg/dl, everything else is in the healthy range.

In terms of diet, okay I donít eat that much vegetables or fruits but I have no trouble with bowel movement,. I drink about 30 ounces of water a day + maybe a 2-3 cans of soft drinks per day.

i only smoke socially. 6 sticks/week and drink socially 4-6 drinks/week.

In terms of stress, I work in a semi-high stress banking job and average 10-12 hr days / 5 days per week. And sometimes work on wk ends when deals are going on.

Why is my body resistance to sickness low and take long to recover? & what can I do to improve my health? What could be wrong?
