Weird circular rash on arm.

About 2.5 weeks ago I got this small circular rash on my arm near my wrist. At first it was red and about the diameter of a pencil eraser. A few days later it hadn't gotten any bigger, but a lighter circular rash appeared around it, not like a bullseye mark, but almost radiating out from the original spot ( I hope that makes sense). Since then, it's progressively gotten darker and the area around initial spot has faded slightly, but still visible. Both are a purplish color. Anyways, I 'm sure this could be a variety of things and without seeing it, it's hard to imagine what it looks like exactly, but if you can, what do you think this could be? It's not raised, and doesn't itch

Re: Weird circular rash on arm.

Hi I would see the dermatologist right away before it disappears in case it is Lymes also it could be ringworm so without seeing it well no one can say for sure.

Re: Weird circular rash on arm.

I agree with SJB in that it sounds a little like either ringworm or Lymes. If it were itching, I would guess it might be eczema. Possibly an insect bite.

Re: Weird circular rash on arm.

Hi of course if a close up picture of the area only is taken and sent as an attachment I would like to see it. The doctor should be the one to diagnose though.

I agree with the other posters on this one.
