Discolored thumb nail

First post here hoping I can maybe get some kind of answer. About a month ago I noticed half of my thumb nail was very pale pink and the other half is normal. I don't recall any kind of recent trauma. The only trauma thats every happened (long story short) was my thumb hit a ceiling fan that was running. The nail fell off and grew back normal, and this was 3 years ago. The pale streak starts at the very left side of my nail and then covers about 1/4 to 1/2 of the rest of the nail. It's not painful at all. I can't seem to find anything when I search about it.
