I've been having flu like symptoms on and off for approximately 7 months. Over the last 2 months my symptoms have gotten worse including swollen lymph nodes under right jaw and behind ears, dizziness, lightheaded, loss of balance, fatigue, occasional abdominal pain, rib pain, body aches, chest heaviness, on and off diarrhea and nausea, occasional rash on face, itching, sensitivity to light, shortness of breath. The most recent symptom over the last 2 weeks is a low grade fever that comes and goes. I've had a variety of tests all of which are normal. I'm going to see an infectious disease specialist later in the week. Does any one have similar symptoms or a clue what might be going on?

Please do share what the infectious disease dr says. I have a lot of the same symptoms and then some. Do you get any body cramping? I do have sicca syndrome and fibromyalgia but I truly do not believe the fibromyalgia is the cause of the rash, sun sensitivity and swelling in my neck. I am frustrated.
What do you mean by body cramping? I have body aches and fatigue. Were you tested for Lupus? I was and even though it came back negative, my doctor said that there is a possibility that I do have Lupus and it just hasn't shown up in the blood yet.
You may have become environmentally sensitive for some reason. It could have been a cold or infection. It could have been due to an exposure to some chemical.
An environmentally sensitive individual reacts badly to one, or more common, ordinary things in their home, on their person, or in their diet, etc. And.... it can take days, weeks, months or years to discover the common, ordinary things that are causing the breathing problems, or headaches, or fatigue, or nausea, etc.
