She says it doesn't sound like it's anything to do with my heart.
I got the pain again right after I was there and was driving home. It feels like a lightening storm in my chest. I took some Midol cause it's good for stomach cramping so I thought it would help. I was lying down and trying to sleep and my heart race kind of picked up and I literally felt like someone reached through my back and poked the back of my heart like 3 times. It was the weirdest thing in the world. It took a few minutes for my heart to calm down again.
What could this be? My doctor said to watch it for a while and see if it's related to anything and if it keeps going we can do an EKG. I just wanna know why it's doing this
I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety a few years ago, and I know for a fact with me, if I am stressed out and worried about something..my heart can race, it feels like my chest is cramping up, it can feel like someone is taking a knitting needle and just shoving it through my chest area, I get a really upset stomach...just to name a few.
After a while it will just go away for a bit...until I start worrying about something again...or move.. or get upset over something...
It really sounds like you could be suffering from some sort of anxiety.
If it is anxiety..then you might want to try to stay away from caffine and chocolate...two things that are bad for anxiety. Make sure to try and get lots of rest, because the more tired you are, the more likely you are to have an "attack" so to speak.
...another thing, when this started in the beginning..before I was "diagnosed" with it, I truely thought something was wrong...because the pain is so real, and is real..but they could never find anything physically wrong....if you havent already, you should ask your doctor about anxiety....
I hope you can find out whats going on, and get the help you need
