Exclamation Non-Specific Chest Pain

female. 20. okk. so last Friday (Sept 30 2011) I woke up around 7am with chest pain. it felt like someone squeezing my heart. I kept drinking water and trying to go back to sleep but the pain kept getting worst. it got so bad that I was getting sharp pains. like stabbing pain. my heart was racing and pounding like I ran a marathon! around 9am my boyfriend called an ambulance. I was put on oxygen and rushed to the hospital. hooked up to ekg. everything came out normal and I was sent on my way. was told it was "non-specific" and to take motrin for pain and inflammatory. well its now 4days later and nothing has let up. my chest still hurts. my left arm feels heavy and is hurting as well. I'm getting light headed just doing nothing. litterly NOTHING. sitting down. now I'm scared I'm going to pass out or something worse. I can't afford for that to happen with a 6month old at home ..... any answers on to what this could be?? I have a follow up in 2 days on Oct 6. HELP!!!!

Re: Non-Specific Chest Pain

Perhaps it's time to call your doctor's office back and tell them what is going on and ask if they can get you in sooner! Even a day will help, if only to ease your mind. It does sound like something that you have seen. I will keep you in my thoughts!
