Tingling roof of mouth and numbness feeling in upper lip

Hello there.

I am 25 yrs old. Yesterday after lunch (I had a sandwich) the roof of my mouth and part of my tongue were tingling, it felt so weird, and it happened about 4 or 6 times last year. Today After dinner (I had pasta) my upper lip started feeling numb and shaky (tingling too). This is the first time that my lip has felt like that. I am nervous because I don't know what might be wrong with me.

Last year I told my doctor about the tingling in my mouth but she didn't pay attention to it. Today I've been feeling kind of nervous, like when I was walking my dog I was nervous, I got scared twice, once because someone came out of nowhere and another time because of a car. I have a sore throat so I've been feeling tired (like little shortness of breath). I am currently taking Zantac for GERD, I quit Protonix 2 months ago, and have been drinking aloe vera juice, honey, green tea, and now Zantac because my GERD is severe.

Could this be caused by Zantac?

Check out OAS (oral allergy syndrome) and see if that might be it.

You may want to avoid aloe vera juice and see if helps the tingling and numbness you're feeling on the roof of your mouth and lips. If that stops it then you might be allergic to the aloe vera juice.
