| | Why am I shrinking in height?
I'm not sure if this is the right category - perhaps direct me to a more appropriate subsection if you know. I'm a 25 year old male and for some reason I seem to be getting shorter. Around 5 years ago I was measured officially as 5'11 ... but now I've taken a measuring tape and measured myself as only 5'9 1/2. You may say it's just measuring error and I hope it is, but I've measured myself multiple times from different angles, there's some margin of error but nevertheless I seem to be shorter than I used to be. I remember when I was in my early teens I was one of the tallest guys. I never got my height measured but at one point someone said I was about 6'2... maybe that's an off figure, but still, I was once tall but then my growth spurt seemed to end and many people caught up or surpassed me in height. Now I am possibly below average?
Why do you think I'm shrinking - I haven't had a spinal injury or lifted heavy weights. How can I reverse my height loss, perhaps exercises of some sort - or at least prevent further height loss?
