Loss of appetite and upset stomach after cold
I have just got over a cold and am experiencing loss of appetite and an unsteady stomach. Is this just part of the cold? Last week I started taking a magnesium pill but stopped a few days ago because of my upset stomach. Could that be the cause of this as well? I just want to assure myself im not pregnant. I'm currently on the depo provera shot so I doubt that's the case but other opinions are helpful!

During a cold, a lot of mucus is swallowed. This can upset the digestive system. My kids always got a bit of vomiting and diarrhoea after a cold. It usually cleared up in a couple of days. Another possibility is that you have caught a gastric bug along with your cold. Your resistance to germs is pretty low when you already have a cold. Sera
