I noticed a bug bite four days on my arm, felt and looked just like a mosquito bite. Then it looked like a reddish ring formed around it, not quite the bullseye rash but similar maybe.
Just today I noticed a red streak going up my arm to my armpit. I've had it for at least 24 hours. I don't think I notice any symptoms of anything yet, but after reading about this on the net, I'm getting paranoid about all sorts of things because a lot of people say it is urgent. But it's making me extremely nervous and I'm afraid to read anything more, my heart is palpitating from the Internet anxiety!!
I'm going to get it checked out ASAP at this point, possibly within 8-12 hours from now.
If it is urgent, please don't use extreme language to make the point, I don't need that anymore!

Yeah, get it checked, you may be allergic, or there is an infection. Spider venom can take a long time to spread, so you usually have plenty of time. Don't worry, I am sure that it will be treatable. Cheers, Sera
Sounds like a brown recluse spider bite. I had a bite like that many years ago with a red line going up my arm. I went to the ER and they gave me a shot and told me it was a spider bite. See a doc. Good luck
The red streak going up your arm most likely means that there is infection in your arm, and you really need to go get it checked out and probably get antibiotics to deal with it. Don't panic, just go to the doctor, or to Urgent Care (or to the ER) as soon as you can and get the medicine.
