| I pulled the muscle behind my knee, should I see a doctor?
About an hour ago I pulled the muscle behind my knee while running down a football field (I am a referee), a kid was tackled and rolled in front of me, I had to stop Suddenly and I felt a pop then a tingling in the muscle behind my knee, it became extremely difficult to walk. Prior to this happening the back I my knee was sore from reffing all day, so I am pretty sure it went from a sore muscle to a pulled one.
It takes me 3-4 minutes to walk ~100 yards, so it is a pretty slow pace, I feel barely any pain while walking at this pace but I have to keep my knee (the one that is pulled) bent and walk with a limp. Every 10-15 steps I will step on my leg wrong or something of the sort and feel a quick pain behind my knee.
I have college starting on Monday (2 days) so I need to be able to walk around campus all day at an ok pace. I know most sites say to see a doctor if the pain does not subside in a week, but since I need to be able to walk a lot on Monday should I be going to see a Doctor tommorrow to get crutches or something of that sort?
