Hello everyone,
Its been a while since my last post but I still am in the same situation. I injured my right ankle back in May and have been in a boot since. My second doctor sent me to another specialist. After researching the doctor he has done may of these procedures. My question is I initally was told I needed OATS surgery of my ankle. After seeing the specialist he said I also neeed a modified brostrom and a calcaneal osteotomy. Has anyone had all three procedures done at the same time. He told me it is best to get them all done cause he feared I wouldnt come back for the additional surgeries if they were not done at the same time. He is probably right. I just wanted to know if recovery was much different after having all three done as opposed to just the OATS. I am currently on the waiting list for a cadaver bone then the surgery will be done. Any information is appreciated. Thank You
