| Pain after colonoscopy - worried
Hi all
I had a colonoscopy on Monday (19/11) and yesterday it felt like I was 6 months pregnant with bloated stomach. I took some laxatives last night but this morning my stomach feels sensitive and I can feel localised pain (almost like a stabbing pain) in my lower stomach. I passed a lot of wind right after the procedure - and the surgeon said I was 'squeaky clean' - I am just waiting for the results of the biopsy now. I rang yesterday to make sure the bloating was normal and the secretary just said to take paracetamol.......
Should I be concerned at all- dont want to over react but worried about perforations after searching the internet.......
