Right loin pain

I have been experiencing pain in my right loin off and on for 12 months.
It has peaked three times where the pain becomes severe, I begin to get clammy and sweaty, feel faint and vomit two or three times. This experience usually only last 30-60minutes. After this peak, and usually before, I still experience a grabbing pain which comes and goes in my right loin. I have been tested for kidney stones twice however was given the all clear.
I am now being told it may be muscular related, however I fail to see how muscle pain can lead to vomiting and the unpleasant episodes.
Am I wrong to think this? Could muscle pain result in nausea?
What else could be giving me this pain?
