burning in stomach and little pinkish blood on the tissue and sometimes in stool

I am 22 years old Male. My stomach burns at night even though i don\'t eat any spicy food and if I sleep flat the burning sensation comes all the way from my stomach and reaches my throat, so I started to put a big pillow which reduced the burning to come to my throat and i have some blood on the tissue and sometimes little bit on stool could you please tell me whats my condition and what should I do to prevent it? Can some one please help me

Re: burning in stomach and little pinkish blood on the tissue and sometimes in stool

Hi sounds like you have some stomach acid you said it gets better when you prop your head up at night? Try some Prilosec OTC in the am.

Now the blood on the tissue are you saying after bowel movement? If its pink and just a little, are you straining? Could be hemmiroids usually if its from the stomach it will be dark blood. So I don't think they are related but I do not have a medical background. Wouldn't hurt to go to the dr.

Also research low acid diet. Let us know how it goes cathy
