Low cholestrol

5 weeks ago I was rushed to hospital suffering a stroke, I got there in the golden hour, after 20mins. Of being on a blockbuster drug I had fully recovered, at the time my cholestrol was 6.7 the hospital put me on 40 mg of simvistatin
I had a blood test last Thursday and today the docs receptionist gave me the result , she said total cholestrol was 2.0 my husband got me to phone the docs
To see if I should stop taking but she said carry on with the medication,
But if its done that after 5 weeks what will happen in another 5weeks ?
I do not see her for 3 weeks as we are due to go on holiday next Wed.
So am a bit worried.

I do know my daughter's was once two point something and was told that was good
