feeling really low - Grief & Loss Message Board

just under 2 weeks ago my very fit and healthy 43yr old brother said he suddenly felt sick - 8 hours later he was dead, he'd had a massive brain haemorrhage, there was nothing anyone could do for him and he would never have felt a thing. i miss him so much, he'd annoy the hell out of me and i even miss that, i can't stand the thought that he won't be around to watch my 2 small kids grow up and i can't face the thought of the next 50 years without him. while we were with him in the hosptal they had to run some basic tests while he was unconscious and at one point he appeared to have a tear in the corner of his eye, it's breaking my heart that he might have been aware of what was going on but couldn't do anything to show us. i just want him to know that i love him and always will and if i could do anything to turn back the clock i would do.

IF he would annoy you I would watch for signs around you. You might be surprised that he will be around "annoying" you again. You only have to go about fifty years without his "physical" presence. His spirit and soul will be with you and then after all that you WILL see him again where ever it is we go after we die. I'm sure he'll be right there asking "what took you so long"! Sorry for your loss and I hope you find strength to get through this tough time. Keep your mind open so you know when he's around. Okay? Lots of love.
