A sailing ship spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
As she sets sail, she looks beautiful and strong
You watch until she seems like a speck of white cloud
Where the sea and the sky meet each other
Someone next to you says 'there she is gone'
But has she gone?
She is just as large in mast and hull as she was when she left the shore
Just at the moment when someone says 'she's gone'
Another voice on a distant shore shouts 'she's here'
there's always another tomorrow
however hard the day
there's always an end to sorrow
time wipes are tears away
there's always a reason for living
though sad your heart may be
there's always another horizon
beyond the one you see
( my daughter was given these by her bereavement councellor, I
wanted to share them for those who havent read them already)
