Re: how to grieve my 81 year old fathers sudden death

Firstly, my condolences. There is no one way to grieve--just let nature run its course. I have been incredibly anxious after my fathers sudden death a month ago. He just dropped dead of a heart attack and I was left constantly feeling as though mine was coming. Don't let yourself get to that stage; grieve actively, accept the pain but also compartmentalize it. Realize that this is life and that it is sad but it is irreversible. I wish you the best.

Re: how to grieve my 81 year old fathers sudden death

Ask God to help you through the process and show you that you father is in a peaceful place, where you will be joining him before you know it.
Remember time heals all wounds and with time you will feel better . hang on.
