Happy 65th Birthday Dad
HAPPY 65TH BIRTHDAY DAD! 31st January 2011. My Dad passed 6mths ago and it feels like yesterday, it has been soooo hard, ecspecially cause i had my second son just days after he passed,we were sooo close and everyday has been a struggle. He had a heart bypass and repair to his Aorta, everything went really well but they damaged his vocal folds when they put the tube down so everything he ate and drank went straight into his lungs, he was in ICU for 17 days then into a ward then back to ICU his body couldnt cope anymore, but i went heavily pregnant 1 hr drive to see him everyday and i cherish every minute i had with him because i miss him so much, my life has completely changed. i just wanted to say Happy Birthday Dad, I miss you. I LOVE YOU DAD FOREVER AMANDA

My father passed away from complications of Parkinson's disease on December 26, 2010. He was the first man I ever loved and a wonderful father. I was there with him to the end and miss my dad so much. I did not expect for him to take a turn for the worse so soon. He was 76 years old and his birthday is on February 14. Last year we had a birthday party for him and he was able to walk into the room with a walker. The Parkinson's progressed and he could no longer swallow and did not want a feeding tube so by his choice, we let him die naturally. I had plans on going to visit him for his birthday and celebrating 77 years. I am glad he is no longer suffering but I know February 14 will not be an easy day. I wish your father a Happy 65th Birthday.
