Unhappy Dad just dx with colon cancer

This is my first post. I don'teven know what to say. My father had a colonoscopy Thursday and they couldn't do it cause they found a large mass in his upper intestines. We met with the surgeon today and he will be admitted to the hospital on Sunday and have surgery Monday morning. I think I am still in shock. I am having a rough time. THey are concerned it is in his liver but we won't know until Monday. I am just scared.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope he's going to be okay. If they find something that may have been caused from a dietary standpoint, there may be some things he can do to help remedy the situation.
