Bi-polar depression and grief

I've been really depressed with the loss of my brother last year, right before Christmas. I don't seem to be reacting to my brother's death in the same way that the rest of my family is.

I've had bp for 9 years, and stable for the last 8, but really in the last year have been deeply depressed.

Re: Bi-polar depression and grief

You have suffered a great loss, and I am so sorry.
Everyone reacts to grief differently. I think now is the perfect time to make an appointment with your therapist and talk things out and also have them check or adjust your medication for your BP. Take good care of yourself.
