Hi, I am new to this board and have a couple questions regarding stress. I am 17 and just started my senior year at highschool. The anxiety I deal with is usually due to school and the thought of college and doing well in my classes. Also, six months ago I had a sexual encounter that I was worried about because I was scared about diseases, so there has been a mix of worries revolving in my head for about 6 months. My diet has always been poor, I eat a lot of junk food and just recentely I developed Grade 2 Acid reflux. I have NEVER had a problem with reflux before in my life, and all of a sudden now, I feel nauseas after I eat and have the burping sensation in my throat. I also noticed over the past 2-3 months that my hair is a lot thinner. The top of my head feels so much thinner then it used to and I was worried that this was also a result of stress. Is hair loss at all common among stressed-out people, or is this something I should consult the doctor about? Let me know..thanks
