I have had saline implant and didn't have a problem, however a year earlier I had a tonsillectomy and I did have a significant amount of hair loss after this operation. Perhaps 20% of my hair fell out over a two week period. It seemed like so much and I panicked. I went to a specialist and he said my hair loss was from the anesthesia. I don't know if he was right. I do know this is the a canned or typical response.
I quit eating because of the pain associated with having my tonsils removed (by the way I'm writing a book it's called the "tonsil diet"). I don't think health wise I was prepared for this operation and went into it rather run down. That and everything else caused me to lose my hair.
When I had my BA I was prepared and I made certain that my diet and health were strong before going into the surgery. Might try vitamin supplements, healthy diet, make sure you're getting enough sleep and having your thyroid checked.
My hair is fine now. I hope this helps you my dear.
