Ive been dyeing my hair black since the summer of 2003. Every day in the shower, I have about 5-10 pieces of hair that are on my hands after washing it, generally with no growth from the root (my hair is naturally blonde, so it would be obvious to tell), just solid black, then the white root. I do from time to time, like every other normal person, see a hair that falls out with blonde growth, as we all know we lose 50-100 hairs a day. But these are also on my pillow in the morning.

I did stop dyeing my hair for about 9 months from august 2003- April 2004, and my hair stopped falling out and seemed to be much thicker again as my hair was originally alot thicker than it is now. It looks like just my crown is balding real bad, but thats because of the blonde coming through. My scalp is thinning out all over.

Has any other male had this problem?

P.S. Im going to stop dyeing it (its been 2 months now), wash my hair every other day from now on, and try to avoid using product. I blow dry and heat straighten it every day as well. Im also going to take a multi vitamin and eat healthier.

Any help would be appreciated
