hair loss after surgery... - Hair Loss / Alopecia Message Board

Is it normal to loose some hair after having surgery? I assume this is due to all the medication...especially the anasthesia.

I had a liver resection in July and for the last couple of weeks I have been losing quite a bit of hair. Just wondering if this is normal.

im Geri and 26 last year had acute liver failure and after being at death several times and in ICU for 2months once I came home and started regaining my strenght most of my hair fell out and I lost all my muscles and had to go thru serious physical therapy which noone wanted to help so I went thru it all on my own
