Do you have the hair loss? Everytime I go to the doctor he ask me if I am losing my hair. Should I have bold spots, or is thinning hair, and loss of alot of strans in hair brush what he is asking?

hi ceya,
hair loss i have read is a symptom. in a lupus foundation pamphlet i have it said 27% of people with lupus experience this. i definetly have hair thinning, for a while it was coming out pretty bad. i'd say ive lost about 25% of it through thinning. the good news is , i've read it grows back. my birthday is tomarrow. i'll be 38 as if getting wrinkles werent enough.wow! i just realized what i said 38!!!!

I have hair loss as well. I find the worse my joints hurt, the more hair loss I have.
Now my joints are getting swollen and I dont know if you have seen my previous post but I had a heart attack 2 weeks ago and I need to keep an eye on my weight (what fun!) and make sure I am not going into chf as opposed to the usual joint swelling.
I agree to with your previous post about just saying hi. Alot of time I dont answer posts if I feel my info is not really going to be helpful, although you are right...sometimes just ACKNOWLEDGING the post helps people. Take care.

You know you can purchase a Vitamine that helps your hair stay strong and prevents it from falling out. Just go to a Vitimine store and ask its for things like lupus. I used to use it till that phase passed and then no more.
