Black Bulb at the root of hair?
So I've been under a lot of stress lately, so I' feel as if I'm losing more hair each time I wash my hair.
In fact, I notice that the strand of hair tends to have a black bulb at the root. Back then, I tend to have ones that have the white bulb.
Does the color of the bulb imply anything? I already went to a dermatologist for this and I was given a steroid scalp solution to apply whenever my hair is itchy. (He said I have some seborric (sp?) dermatitis...) I already tried washing my hair every other day and skipped using shampoo at times (my scalp is very dry).
Does the color imply anything in terms of regrowth? I'm worried I'm going bald as a 25 year old male. My mom and dad are not going bald. My maternal uncle does have male pattern baldness though.
