My names charlie and i'm a 29 year old female. For the past 4 months i have experienced hair loss and patches of baldness from the sides and back of my head.
It's distressing as i have not yet been diagnosed with anything despite seeing 5 doctors and a trichologist! I have tried ointments and have had my bloods done and a fungal scrapping and everything came back normal?! The one thing they did find was that my ferritin levels were low and i have been put on Florisene 3 times a day to promote hair growth :/ My hair is usually thick and very long, but i'm finding it harder and harder to hide the thinning away
One specialist told me it was psoriasis and then i got told by another 3 docs that it was not psoriasis as it did not have the characaristics of it?!
So confused as i don't know where to go from here and was wondering if anybody out there was goin thru the same as me.
