Hair loss in my beard; anything I can do?

I have this big hole right on my chin-seems to have come out of nowhere.
I understand it is caused by elevated cortisol levels due to stress (I am definitely stressed!)

Is there anything I can do to bring the hair back and/or prevent future loss?

Yes, its definitely from stress. Stress does cause hair loss, especially its is constant stress.
I can tell you that from my own experiences.
Have you seen a Derm?

Thats a new complain so far in the forum of hair loss .
Inspite that being a old problem due to stress or being upset. Hair loss is a serious problem as it signals that the diet you intake is wrong or the emotional balance is hay why with you and you need to take care of that which leads to diabetes and blood presuure problems.

Shinninglikeme:

I find it hard to believe that this a new complaint in this forum.
Facial hair less is incredibly common.

SIlky:

Its not a very serious issue at all. Please think a little more carefully/do your research before responding with such a dire tone.

Its merely a sign of stress, caused by raised cortisol levels.
I went to my doctor, they injected me with some cortizone and it has fully filled in over the past month.
