The best Flat Irons/Hair straighteners - Hair Problems Message Board

Okay I've got really frizzy hair. I mean my stylest even says so. We call it "BUSHMEN HAIR." It's like you would see for Horminy form Harry Potter, or Rurpert from Survier, or something you find on the Discovery Channel on a special about the evolution of mankind. Thats what My hair looks like. LOL. Anyways I was woundering if anyone knows of the Super Star. Not the one that has all that wording on it, but the one that has the 4 stars and then the word Super? I had a girl that did my hair and has had that thing for a year and doesnt remember were she got it. Or if anyone knows of a straightener that works BETTER THEN THE CHI. B/c fankly the Chi is like" OKay lets look good only for the car and not the party" it just doesnt last for me. EVER. Can anyone HELP ME???

I know what you mean about the frizz- its the naturally wavy and dryness that causes it. I have tried a lot of products, and while you will get good results with them- be sure to use ALOT of leave in conditioners or you will FRY your hair. Try either the Sleek Look line by Biolage or the Smooth Down line by Redken- both lines have a leave in conditioner. As for the Flat Iron- there is one available at Sallys by ION - it runs about $99 but works well, however, don't buy the ION styling products- they do not work. Your only other option would be to have the permanent straightening done at a Salon- actually, if your hair is in good condition- this is the way to go, it lasts for about 6-9 months depending on how fast your hair grows.

chi or farouk flat iron. heats up fast couple of minutes to get hair straight

I use Chi flat iron & just love it! U may want to try Chi hair oil put a very small amount in hair before you blow dry.
I seems to help alot.
