Question Hair thinning on one side and at crown......

My hair seems to be thinning on the left side of my head under my ear and at the crown where my cowlick is. I am wondering what this could be. It is also shedding alot. I am using biotin, prenatals and nioxin. My doc gave me Spironolactone also for the testasterone and my oily face. There is kinda a weird feeling on my scalp too like its tight and pulling but only on the left side. No dandruff or any kind of scalp thing going on like fungus or anything. I am puzzled!!!!

Any help would be great.
I am female age 32.

No, not yet. I am hoping that it is just my time to shed. This has happened before but not to this extent. Should I see one do you think? I thought since i don't see anything on my scalp that it wouldn't be anything serious.

I guess if it was ok another time, you can wait. When I started to thin, I saw my doctor and got Rogaine. All is fine now. I hope your hair comes back fast. Good luck.

What was yours caused by? If you don't mind me asking. I was thinking about rogaine but, you have to use it the rest of your life. But, i guess if i have a serious problem, i would need to do something long term anyway.

Re: Hair thinning on one side and at crown......

I had the very common female pattern baldness. Inherited and very, very common. I now notice lots of people with it on TV and such. Anyway, I started the Rogaine early and it helped FAST. I have thick hair again, in under 4 months. Amazing. Yes, you have to keep using it $$$$, but I am just happy there IS something to use!!! Just make sure and see a good dermatologist first. Sally
