| Re: My Hair Is Burnt!!!!
Hair that is "damaged" won't repair since it's been changed chemically. But, products can give the damaged hair support. Kolesterol is a moisturising conditioner...also get one that is of protein. It will help replace what the perm completely broke down.
I would suggest you cut your hair as short as you can stand.....at least half the damaged length off. Preserving something that can give you grief for 2 years seems a waste of time.
The damage is done, start anew...who knows, you may feel utter joy and relief at not having to nurse something that will be impossible to bring back to life.
I did it to myself once with a perm on bleached hair using the wrong (on purpose because I didn't have anything else) product. I got a chemical haircut out of the deal. Definitely, I should have known better since I' m a hairstylist.
But, experience speaks louder than others' words.
Now, you have experience.
Let us know what happens.
